COVID-19: Compliance Measures We Are Taking
At Proudfoot Plumbing Heating and Air, we take our customers’ wellbeing and the safety and health of our employees and the community very seriously. We will continue to monitor and respond to the COVID-19 impact on our community. We are a life-sustaining industry, therefore, exempted from closure. We are asking customers questions about the health of everyone in the house before agreeing to an appointment. We have extended our hours during this crisis to meet our customers’ needs. We are here for you 24 – 7 until this crisis is over. We know that you have needs that are emergency in nature, and we are here to help you.
Pennsylvania Guidelines for COVID-19
According to written guidelines set forth by Gov. Thomas Wolf, we are at this time remaining open. Proudfoot is classified under 1.) professional, scientific, and technical services and 2.) personal/household goods, repair, or maintenance. Please see the updated industry operation guidelines here for Pennsylvania. We will continue to operate under these permitted categories until further notice from Gov. Wolf.
Proudfoot Saftey Measures
In adherence to recommendations and requirements put in place, we are operating with as little contact with each other and our customers. Our office is closed to the public. All non-essential staff members are working from home. We are remaining fully operational for our extended business hours.
CDC Guidelines
Technicians are following all CDC recommended hygiene guidelines, and will perform duties with very limited to nearly no customer contact. We suggest that you keep to a social distance from our technicians as they visit your home or business. We have instructed our technicians to practice social distancing as they interact with you. We are practicing social distancing by calling or texting the customer just prior to our arrival to open the garage or basement door. We then ask our customers to communicate with us outside a 6 feet distance and only when necessary. This is to protect the customer and our technicians.
